Hi Bookish Friends!

Let me introduce myself! My name is Monica Sophie (get it? Monphie? Mon – phie…). And this is my book review blog (duh!). I’ve always loved reading and have this horrible habit of starting a book and feeling the urge and need to not put it down until I’m finished! I wanted to turn all that reading energy into something and I’ve really enjoy sharing my opinions on what I’m reading with family and friends – so this felt natural. On a plus side, knowing that I will need to review the book has forced me to slow down… just a little!

My go to genre of books is contemporary romance – Top three authors at the moment are (in no specific order) Ali Hazelwood, Tessa Bailey and new comer Lindsey Lanza.

My absolute favourite season is winter and a close second is fall. Yes, yes… Winter is really my number one. The snow, the bitter cold, all of it!

If I could move anywhere in the world it would be Reykjavik, Iceland. I’m so in love with that country that I’ve been 4 times already! I love travel in general and if there was a career that involved reading and travelling, I would take it and spend the rest of my days as the happiest person alive. Alas, that job does not exist (at least not that I know of) and my day is that of an Administrative Assistant, which is also really fun – yup, I’m that crazy person who actually likes paper work… I’m just an odd-ball.
